if anything i wished the "John was crazy all along" ending path was a bit more fleshed out, but as it is now works well enough as despair porn since the title of the game is FAITH in all capital letters, and succumbing to that narrative arc belies John questioning and ultimately losing his faith in himself and his raison det're.
good ♥♥♥♥ all around
there seems to be more rotoscope scenes in CH 3 (always a treat)
more little story bits or branches, as well as general gameplay (its longer than ch 2, maybe 2x as long?)
more music
just more FAITH in general, and sure while alot of people have played the first 2 chapters, some people havent (like myself) and paying the 15$ or 20$ or w/e to support the amazing quality of this work and the really engaging story, as well as the soundtrack, is well worth it to me...
hell, i havent even played the game myself, i ended up spoiling everything watching manlybadasshero play it, as well as a friend of mine who i got the game for...she had a nightmare about miriam bell, poor thing got stuck on that part.
its just so good in so many ways, from the story to the design of the characters and visuals and storytelling even with the 8-bit limitation in the 'overworld', and the rotoscope scenes add even more to it with how horrifying they can get, getting worse and worse (read: better and better) with each chapter!
its an amazing game, imo.
