FAITH: CHAPTER III DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

Hi everyone, wanted to post a quick update on how development is going.

This week I wrapped up development on Ending 2 of 3 for Chapter III. I drew nearly 350 individual frames of animated cutscenes for Ending 2 alone. There were also several pieces of original music that I composed for this ending, which includes the final (semi) secret boss of the series.

Next week I will start work on Chapter III's third and final ending. I work on my games in chronological order so, besides the final rounds of QA testing, bug fixes, tweaks, and audio work, we're truly reaching the end of development for Chapter III.

New images/footage of Chapter III will be few and far between from now until release because it would spoil this unique horror experience that I'm creating.

Good to know its coming soon. Also, i vaguely remember hearing that they were gonna try to release a console port at the same time as steam? Is that still happening? Or did i hear wrong lol

Yes a Switch port is planned for simultaneous release with the Steam version.

Thank you so much for making this game for us and for continuing development despite the annoying spammers constantly asking for a release date. The FAITH games are genuinely the best thing to come out of indie horror in the last 10 years, and there's some pretty stiff competition. Good to hear its being released soon I really like the cutscenes and the music. Also reminds me a bit of zelda with the top down cryptic secrets.

Honestly. I don't think i have come across a game, Recently at least. That has given me such a love for gaming as much as faith did, It is the most enjoyable game i have played. I love every moment of playing Faith, it was the greatest experience, i have ever been a part of.

Im so excited to hear its almost getting finalized. from this post sounds like there will be alot of cutscenes, and they will all be awesome. I love the rotoscope animation. It may take awhile to do, but it pays off. Makes it stand out with a creepy vibe.
