So, controller compatibility my @ss

Just as you see on the title. Says it has controller compatibility, but the game does not recognize my controller. I refuse to play this on keyboard/mouse.

From what ive seen in other discussions you have to plug it in on the title screen. Probably some old spaghetti thats left over from Dreamcast / PS1 days that had O.O.O (Order of Operations) set to save the old systems overloading from too much loading at once that had to be left in for the sake of Compatibility.

AKA - The systems wouldn't pick up your controller inputs till the title screen, therefore - the PC version wont recognise your controller till title screen.

The game offers full controller support, but you’ll need to disable Steam Input for it to recognize your Xbox controller. Some PC games require Steam Input to be either disabled or enabled for gamepad compatibility, and in this case, disabling it is necessary.

I'm using a dualshock, not an Xbox controller.

Where can i disable it?

Open BigPicture Mode and select game. Next to the gear icon on the right should be a controller icon, select that and you should be able to do it from there.
