Panzer Dragoon: Remake

Panzer Dragoon: Remake

Lifeless Achievement?
I usually leave the game in the final stage with the god mode activated when i go to sleep, then i complete the level when i wake up to make +100 hours. But ingame i only just have 2:8 hours and Steam marks 17 hours.

Cheats doesn't make count the time played ingame?

Time doesn't count if the game is not in focus. This "achievement" is unbelievably dumb as is, but so it becomes significantly worse still. Needs to be changed.
It's belittling anyway when a game pauses on its own when I minimize it. If I wanted to pause, I could very well do that myself.

The time doesn't count even if I leave the game open in the main menu. I am sure cheats is disabled.

I'm kinda curious what the logic for this achievement was.

Time to use CheatEngine and Enable Speedhack. I've got the 100 hours played in quite a few games in far less than 100 hours by playing at double or quintuple speed.

I'd rather not (and, I assume, many others as well). Better to fix or simply remove this nonsense.

Just a suggestion: it would be much better if it was an achievement for playing through the secret Episode 0, since it would be an incentive for players to find it.

Otherwise, I've been playing the Saturn version since the late 90s, and I don't think I have reached 100h even in it! It's very puzzling why this achievement was added.

I don't get what the purpose of this achievement is. It's so stupid. It made sense for a game like Panzer Dragoon Orta on Xbox where upon playing the game for 20 hours it then unlocks Pandora's Box along with everything in the game. For something like this though....I don't like it.

Suit yourself... but since the achievement doesn't actually necessitate even playing the game so much as merely having it running (in the foreground without cheats), I'd figure it would be a welcome change to get this one in ... say... 20 hours instead of 100 hours. That is what I'm personally shooting for.

I will say it is a bit ridiculous that the leave-the-game-running-overnight achievement penalises the cheat codes, but the complete-the-game-on-hard-mode one doesn't.
Well whatever... I got all the others besides the 100 hour one in the first 4.5 hours of playing the game. Now I'm just waiting. =3

Im in the same situation. I got the rest of achievements in like 5 hours. Now i leave all nights the game running while i sleep. A bit stupid this achievement but im aiming to get all, so patience.

Well, i left the game (on PS4) for 2 hours at the main menu (with the dragon's shadow flying around) and it counted just 12 MINUTES... No cheats etc (aka close the game, re-open it, skip the intro, leave the game at the menu)

Something's pretty much NOT RIGHT with the stats... Can ya PLEASE check it out?. Sometimes it might say 12 minutes and the next boot up it says 6 !!

I got the Lifeless 100+ hours achievement the very first time I loaded the game and completed the first level when playing on Normal difficulty. It must have been bugged for me as I certainly hadn't played the game for 100 hours at that point.

Mine popped very quickly as well, and the in-game time is goofed. I downloaded it less than a week ago.

yup same exact thing for me! I played the first level just to make sure this game booted and ran ok, like no game breaking bugs sorta thing.....I burst out laughing when I searched for what this achievement was and found this thread. ppl spending hours playing this game or doing manipulative tricks to get an achievement, here we are doing it in one swoop in a fraction of the amount of time lol....I got like 20mins of gametime and 4 achievements for playing through 1 level

yea I checked in game time wondering what it might display. it was some really f'ed up number, comparable to if a cat walked across your keyboard. 9847171617909381910.139382902828 hours played lol it might have even had a negative(-) sign in there.

clearly some sort of bug, but, for once a bug was helpful to the user :)
