So what is the difference Between Bright Memory and Infinite exactly?
Had the 2020 game on wishlist until steam recommended me this one, what exactly is the difference?

Aside from the gameplay/concepts and main character? Pretty much everything.

Bright Memory is technically an unfinished Early Access project that got released out of EA with the promise that everyone that bought that would get the new version, Bright Memory: Infinite. They made good on that promise.

They're different enough that it doesn't really feel like Infinite makes the original version feel obsolete, since the levels and bosses are totally different. There's also some different enemies and abilities.

Your mileage may vary as far as value is concerned. The original Bright Memory can be completed in less than half an hour and Infinite can be completed in under two hours. It's debatable if either are worth their full prices since they're so short. They pretty clearly want you to replay them and try to get less deaths on higher difficulties (don't remember if the original had difficulty selection, but I recall hearing difficulty ramps for three runs or so, but I never verified) in shorter times, but not everyone is going to be into that.

I bought the first when it first came out. How to claim the new one?

edit: Oh, OK, it is already added to library.

the only difference from the both is the importance that the keybinds were forgotten to be programmed in the original version and the new one has it. I wish the Dev can go back and program them on Episode 1 where it all started.

These two are completely different games with zero mutual content. They have a different story, different levels and slightly different gameplay. If you loved any of two, another one would feel like a sequel.

Thank you all for the responses.

Different question: You mentioned that people who bough the first edition would get the second. Is it still the case?

I'm afraid that was the case until Infinite released.
The first game goes on discounts and you can't go wrong with the second one if you love Shadow Warrior, Doom 2016 and Uncharted.
