Reaccuring Game breaking control bug
So I just got the game and I'm on the fourth mission and I keep getting a bug where my hands lose interact functionality. I cant interact with ships, special abilities, or even the menu to exit to menu or switch to direct control. Keeps happening after entering combat. I have an Oculus Rift S. Is there anything I can do but wait for a fix?

That's strange, do the hands still gesture when you use trigger or grip? Also, are the hand pointers present?

Hand pointers were present but the hands wouldn't grip, after after the last update I launched the game again and so far haven't had the issue reoccur.

i second that regarding the thumb stick. I have had it happen a few times when I am in tactical overview selecting multiple way points and have time slowed. Clicking the thumb stick allows me to access the menu to "resume time" or exit but not select units or the "grab bars". Resuming time has always fixed the issue however. I should note the map sometimes stops responding as well and won't pan, rotate, or zoom properly (movement seems to become random). I have never had a time where the combination of clicking the thumb stick/resuming time has not fixed the issue and it hasn't been that frequent. Maybe 6 times or so in 20+ hours of play?

Get a similar problem on Vive Pro.

Playing tutorial and (for 4th time now) and controller just drops out (hands no longer visible) and no interactivity.
Check the SteamVR app and both controllers are blinking within the application (read: NOT ON THE HANDSET).
Exiting SteamVR doesn't resolve solution. Have to restart entire computer.

Possibly only relevant to Vive Pro;
Thought it worth mentioning that I've just discovered that turning the "link box" of directly forces the controllers to repair without leaving the game. Takes about 30 - 60 seconds though which is still less than ideal.

I have the same issue with the quest 2, the controllers frequently stop tracking when I idle them for a few seconds, clicking a button will bring them back but that has caused me to buy things on accident multiple times.
