save game missing

started a career twice now . im spewing as i took the time to build my own team and sort my calendar and really set myself up for a long playthrough . i go to load up my saved game and it wont load it , so i click on load a game and its missing then it is no longer in load previous game . any help would be appreciated

i'm having the same issue. tried to start careers and tours, but every time the save game is missing.

Can you try to launch the game as administrator, and tell us if it works ?

It has no effect. Also tried to reinstall the game. still no saved games

Do you have an antivirus ?
You may need to add the exe of the game to the exceptions.

If you use only the windows 10, you may add the exe of the game to the authorized app.
1. Go in Windows Parameters
2. Go in Updates & Security
3. Go in Windows Security
4. Go in "Protection versus virus & threats"
5. Go to manage "Protection versus ransomware"
6. Go in "Authorize an app (through a controlled access to files)."
7. Add the exe of pcm

Does not work! I have pushed the .exe through windows and in my antivirus. Also tried turning off antivirus completly, no change.

Got an error when i start the game:
Failed to copy file from: .\Database\OfficialRelease.cdb to: C:\Users\kmart\onedrive\documents\pro cycling manager 2020\mod\default\officialrelease.cdb
Failed to copy file from: .\gui\single\preview.png to: C:\users\kmart\Onedrive\documents\pro cycling manager 2020\mod\default\prewiew.png

Last resort workaround : can you manually copy the file from the folder of the game to the path shown :
1. Right clic on your game in the Steam library > choose properties > explore local game files
2. Goes to the "Database" folder and copy the "Official.cdb" file
3. Paste the file to : C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2020\Mod\Default

Please tell us if the game launches and saves properly.

The game now launches without the error, but still no saving/opening saved games

sorry had to delete a comment as totally missed the story

yep i have followed those steps . created two save files one using the default database and the mod database just in case this was the fault with success so far . will play the game for a couple of hours and see how the file goes after actually doing a race

so far so good with the save file . did one race and was able to load it back up . do i dare learn my riders names lol
