ICBM

[Request] - EMCOM Stages. Plus passive emissions. Meaning detect radar emitting vessels from afar.
A super important part of naval warfare is EMCOM. ... Emissions Control
A naval fleet can avoid radar detection by sending out a couple picket vessels to use their radar while the main fleet keeps their radar off and goes in a different direction. THEN switch up which vessels are broadcasting radar.
Or even SOLELY rely upon naval AWACS while all surface vessels maintain radar silence.
This would be SUPER nice. It'd make contacts bounce all over the detection range, increasing the difficulty of finding enemy vessels. ... Perhaps make it a configurable option. Cuz it definitely would up the difficulty level.

Which brings me to passive emissions ...
Any vessel using radar can be detected from TWICE the range it can detect other vessels.
This would be very useful and appropriate in-game.
IRL it's pretty essential to a) finding enemy fleets and b) fooling your enemy as to where your fleets are

That's part of the beauty of AWACS. THEY can cover a huge region and let the carrier group remain on passive EMCON.
VERY important part of the level of warfare ICBM represents.

I get that ICBM isn't a "simulator." Okay. I'm not looking for nor expecting that. This isn't CMANO. I get it.
Still tho.
EMCON is a very important part of naval warfare. It can be simplified enuf to fit in the game.

These things would WAY increase the usefulness of satellites, seeing how THEY can't be fooled by EMCON maneuvers.

BTW, right now AWACS is actually the way to "simulate" this, as it has very long radar range while not too easy to detect.

Switching into the "passive" mode is something I could do, however it will only be useful against other players, as teaching AI to use and counter it in a meaningful way is something I'd better not to try.
