Pouncing on Birds Adds Weight (BUG)

So, when I Pounce On birds for feathers in slow motion, there is extra weight on the cat so I can't reach the bird.
But when I pounce normally it in normal. It just started randomly.

Hey, sorry to hear you are having this issue.
Could you let us know.
Are you playing with Mouse and Keyboard, or a controller.
Does this happen all the time? and did it happen from the start of the game?

this happens all the time after I beat the I got to the apartment. I play with an Xbox controller.

I experienced the same bug. Also playing with xbox (elite series 2) controller on Linux.
After I had gotten home and started endgame, the pouncing became a very short jump, far shorter than the projected trajectory. Catching birds became pretty much impossible.
Gllad to read I can expect it to fix itself when restarting the game next time.

Did you try without wearing a hat?
