How to reset rubber duck spawns

I’m trying to get the rubber duck achievement however I have lost a rubber duck and don’t know where I put it and how to get it back

I almost start a new game becouse of that, but then i found it.

i dropped one from taffy's place to find it later, but i guess it disappeared

I had a briefcase spawn a rubber duck once. You might try that if you can't find one of the regular rubber ducks for some reason. The briefcase spawn happened after I had finished the achievement, but I don't know if that's required for it to happen.

I have the same issue and got a rubber duck out of a briefcase but it doesn't count :/

Make sure you check crooks and corners, mine was stuck in bamboo a took hours to find. Might be worth just starting a new game.

Also, like someone else said, the briefcase duck doesn’t work either.

If i can get a developer to provide the item id's i can give all steam users a full list of manual resets. (They are LONG, i did find the ones for the rainbow balls quest, but it is time consuming to manually find out the items.
I have to go to each item and then look through the system files for nearby items, record each one, then i have to one at a time, edit the location of each item and load the save to see if the item i want has moved.

I had the same problem so I looked for the IDs. These are the IDs to the 4 ducks that are checked by the achievement:

Recovering your ducklings will require a text editor and your save file. Follow these steps:
1. Leave your game open on the save you want to edit. The Steam cloud will undo your meddling if you don't do this.
2. Find your save. You can do this by pasting

%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Double Dagger Studio\Little Kitty, Big City

into Windows Explorer's url bar. Look for a file named SaveFile_N.es3 where N = your save slot minus one (0, 1, or 2).
3. Backup your save. I'm not responsible for unrecoverable saves if you do something wrong!
4. Open it up with a text editor like Notepad.
5. Search (Ctrl-f) for each id (the long string of numbers and hyphens). If you scroll down a little you should find its position with xyz values.
6. If you want to teleport them into and around the pool then replace their coordinates with these:

"x" : 92.0,
"y" : -5.0,
"z" : -135.0

Make sure to not accidentally delete any grammatical symbols! The game needs them to read the save properly.
Alternatively, you can teleport the rubber ducks to the player by searching for "CatData" and copying the coordinates underneath that.
7. Save your edits and load the save file by clicking "Load Previous" in the game menu. Note that the ducks don't spawn exactly at the cat or pool because the physics engine has a field day during the loading screen while it tries to cram 4 ducks into the same space. You may have to search a little for them, but they should not be far.

I know this post of fairly old, but the last duck is really hard to find. I found it by accident just climbing around. There's an area on the west side of the map where two air conditioning vents will blow you off the side. The vents are on a timer. You need to get past them and climb to the very top of the roof of that building and you'll find a putting golf thing and you'll run into a previous character. I don't remember exactly where the duck was but if you look around the roof up there you'll find the duck, plus some other goodies.

Another tip, you have to drop the rubber ducks on the wooden dock side of the pond, don't try and drop them on the side where the mama duck is.

The problem still occur, i'm playing the game on gamepass PC and i'm stuck at 3/4 ducks despite having found all 4 and put them in the pond, whenever i restart a save the duck on the taffy's balcony respawn


EDIT:
I went check all location and in fact they all did respawn, putting them again back in the pond it counts and i got the achievement
