Fish glitch?

I was trying to get the fish from the store yesterday. When I grabbed it, the worker had grabbed me and the fish completely despawned. It no longer says the fish is visible on the map anymore. I only have three cat paw staminas and not four.

Anyone else encountered an issue like this?

I encountered it in other way. I was running from store worker and taken photo. Upon exit from photo mode game was freezed in frame of photo mode but sounds were from gameplay and worker caught me. After restart of the game fish was disappeared completely.

I wish there was a possibility to respawn all not used important items

My fish disappeared too. I hope there will be a solution soon

I was trying to get the fish from the person on the roof with the hose. I got sprayed as I was carrying the fish away and it clipped into the tarp on the ground. I can see it, but can't pick it up or swat it... I suppose glitches like this that force you to restart the game is one way to extend playtime...

I had this same issue… couldn’t find a fix so had to restart my whole game..

Hello sorry to hear you are all having this issue, could you let us know if its still present in the latest Steam version?
Do the fish respawn if you save and then load?

Hi Steve. Sorry this is an Xbox issue but found this post whilst searching. Having a similar issue where we took the Fisherman's fish, ate it, the game crashed and now it doesn't show that we have ate it, and won't respawn as shows the "take the Fisherman's" quest is complete.

Had the same problem with the store person too, ran away for a moment before placing it down to eat it and it de-spawned.

Wait like 15 minutes before running back to the store and it re-spawned.

Oh no, sorry to hear this. Did the game crash as you were eating the fish? mid fish eating animation, or after you had completed eating it?
