Price on steam in Polish region is a joke :(

Well I was planning to buy your game on steam when it gets released but now I have 2'nd thoughts... why? because regional price in Poland is 2'nd highest in the whole world...

Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining about the price of the game overall. 22 EUR (current -10% discount) is a fair price to ask, I don't have anything against paying the full price ~25 EUR. I'm only complaining that the conversion to Polish Zloty is absurd... Lets take the current price of the game (10% discount) in PLN on Steam 103.49 PLN that roughly converts to 24.14 EUR. vs 22 EUR that converts to +9% on the exchange rate.

I wold rather wait for a release on other stores (ie. Green Mang Gming, HumbleBundle), but the game is not available there... oh well it means I won't buy it at all... this is not because I don't want to support the devs, or I don't appreciate their work, I don't agree with the auto price conversion that steam currently has.

Again I'm not complaining about the 22 EUR price, I'm complaining about Steams auto price conversion. Currently it makes games in Polish region top 3 most expensive one.

Ps. If anyone is interested where I got the data, go and check Little Kitty, Big City on steamdb price history and sort by converted price.

maybe try one of them VPN things, just dont pick kanasas as their tax rate is crazy in a bad way.

Key websites are a nogo for me, taking into account the controversy around them, I don't think the devs would get anything out of it.

That is actually a nice suggestion, I can consider it, as said I don't mind the price, its about the premium on the exchange rate. That's why I mentioned Humblebundle store.

Good to know ;) that would involve setting up another account and (probably) gifting it, I would rather not loose my main steam account ;) I can always ask a friend to by it for me.

Thank you all for the suggestion. But again that is not the point. I was hopping that one of the devs, or from steam would become interested, probably won't happen.

Steam promised better pricing when they introduced PLN, then PLN <-> USD ratio changed on the global market, they adjusted (witch was fair) the conversion ratio, to make the games stay the same in USD/EUR. What they did not do is to adjust it again when the exchange ratio became better for PLN, thus effectively prices in PLN stayed roughly same, but when converting to UER/USD they went up in price :D
