please fix the emote wheel not selecting an emote with ps5 controllers

Are you using wireless mode?
Some people have gotten a steam prompt before the game launches. I got it by launching the game with the controller already active via cable link. It's something to do with control input conversions.

They can connect to computers or phones via Bluetooth. (Share and home til lights flash blue to enter pairing mode)

Try steam input.
For me i played the main game for about 3 hours, got the prompt for steam input on 3rd launch. I never had an issue with controls though. Just had my button icons revert back to xbox during day 2
