How to catch Ramune the yellow bird?

For easily an hour, I have been trying to catch Ramune, the yellow little bird. Both with bread as a lure and without bread, he always flies away at the last moment when I try to pounce on him. I have seen players catch him without a lure, but I have not been able to. I crouch and sneak up on him and then pounce, as with the blue birds, while Ramune is on the ground. He immediately flies away, though. What to do?

That seems to be the solution. I got it right after trying for a long time. Bread was not needed, and this eventually worked. Not sure why this was so difficult.

You just sneak and then pounce.

Sometimes your game physics can get out of whack and your pounces will always land short of the bird, like your legs will drags behind you in an odd way. If that happens, Save, quit out of the game (I had to restart my PC before it worked for some reason) and then reload. When your pounces work normally on other birds, they'll also work on her.
