Loved the demo, but there was several issues
I loved playing this demo, cute and fun, and this is a game I have been anticipating playing since the first trailers. I did run into a few issues during the demo however and have some feedback regarding that.

First, and honestly the smallest gripe, is how different the visuals are from the trailer. The cat in the trailer had a fuzzy/fluffy look to it, but in the demo it's smooth. It feels like there is a visual effect that is not working because some other models looked off too, like the tanuki near the end that looked like plastic.

Anyway, the first issue I ran into was when the game told me to open the menu. Both "Start" and "Select" (or equivalent depending on the controller) open the same set of menus, just at a different location. It was a bit confusing to have the menu with my objectives/inventory be the same set of menus that also had configuration settings. Furthermore the camera seems to get confused how to re-position itself every time I exited the menu and would spin/zoom around for a bit before realizing where it needs to be.

Second was when I jump against a wall. First of all, is there any point to this? Since it seems like the only thing I can do is either slide down or jump off, I can't try to climb further. But the issue I encountered was when I could jump off, the cat would rapidly spin like a top every time.

Some mechanics just randomly break as well. I got softlocked at one point because pounce suddenly stopped working. I could aim, but letting go of the button did nothing. Many animations would get stuck or T-pose at times as well (The crow did this a lot).

NPCs were not immune from this either. I had one random NPC who was just talking around suddenly walk up to me to pet me, but after that he just remained in place and never moved again. Another changed course towards a wall and for the entire remainder of my playthrough kept trying to walk through a wall:

The water is also annoyingly deceiving as the game counts you as stepping on water even when there is land above the puddle of water, such as this spot:

Despite there being a raised curb (and a large one with dirt, bushes, and even a tree) and the water puddle should obviously just be on the ground, the game counted me as stepping on water when I would walk on that curb on the areas where I assume the puddle was still counted as under it.

(Also, I know you need to gate the player, but the use of water puddles to do it all over the place seemed a bit... excessive)

And many small visual glitches such as these small rock debris that were scattered around everywhere constantly disappearing/reappearing depending on the camera angle.

Overall I did have fun with the demo... when the game's broken parts weren't fighting me, but it feels like the game still need a considerable amount of tweaking and bugtesting.
