No R18 content

Hi there,

It seems that the R18 cintent is not available for me.
I am not given the option to choose for it and I cannot find any toggles to turn on.
There is no R18 option in the gallery.

Any thoughts about how to solve this problem ?

So there is going to be a bit of a change in how to unlock adult content

Put the patch "mahou.patch" into the following local archive of the game to enable "Adults Only".
The path of the archive is "AppData\LocalLow\GameUncle\UncleNeighbor".
If you don't want the "adults only" content, just remove the patch mahou.patch.

Does anyone know which folder you put it into for the MacOS version? Does it even work for the Mac version?

I am really struggle i dont understand but i cant find it but i know where is uncleneighbor.
i feel it is impossible for me... i am still struggle.

If you're on Windows and have problems finding the correct directory:
1. Hold "Windows Key" and press "R" to open Run prompt.
2. Copy the and paste this directory into the Run prompt:

%USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/GameUncle/UncleNeighbor

3. Click OK.

It should now open the directory where you need to place the mahou.patch

Thank you! This worked [although the developer shouldn't have made this so difficult], you're a life saver!

For anyone else with the Mac version who struggled to find the right file folder, I just copied the directory address from above, went to the 'Go' menu under Finder, selected the 'Go to Folder...' option, and then pasted in the

~/Library/Application Support/GameUncle/UncleNeighbor

and it opened the folder I couldn't find manually, and then I just pasted in the patch file and it worked.

Now that you have found the correct directory. You need place the mahou.patch file there. If you don't have the file, you can download it by following the instructions in here:

You can tell if it's working by checking the Gallery. You should see 🔞 icon if it's working:

Honestly, I don't understand the reason behind this change and why the developer has made it so convoluted for average user since this patch is provided by another person called CMFox (@Caernfox). Why does he have to rely someone else to provide a patch for his own game? Can a framework change really affect a mere toggle option that much? Originally this toggle option was saved in the game's system.dat

I have done all this, followed the instructions, checked it so many times, and placed the mahou file which i got from the link in this thread, and put it in the exact folder specified, I would post a screenshot to show but I have no idea how to do that, yet it still does not work. normally this sort of thing would not phase me but I was working on unlocking all the pictures and to have my progress be discarded is something I have to rectify.

Hi. I am on windows. I have been trying to install the patch for R18 scenes and I dropped it in the right place: where they said. There are several .dat files including archive and cgs...etc, but it does not work. I don't know what I am doing wrong tbh. Could anybody help?
