So far, in the grand scheme of things, the money you make in the Brothel is more financial padding if not a floor for how much money you can lose,
Lots of games, even those made by Triple-A Devs, struggle with what to do with the game economy when there is a source of money beyond a finite amount of loot/sell options or jobs. Naturally the incentive will always be against allowing a Player (even if stupidly) to misspend all possible cash and be unable to get more for the rest of the game.
As for players just leaving their game on to collect a salary, I don't think I will prevent that. First, because the game already has built-in cheats available (through the player PC, generate as much money as you want), and secondly because I think it's healthy for ways to "cheat the system," so to speak, such as save-scumming, which is perfectly fine.
Of course, everything is subject to change and the Brothel upgrade system will change significantly throughout dev.
Fair enough, thanks for replying.
