The game seems to do this just playing naturally as well.
which proton do you use?
delete the files in desktop mode.
Some guy online made some performance tweaks for the deck (Cryobyte33 Steam-Deck-Utilities on GitHub). these tweaks involve increasing the deck swap file size, changing the swap file priority so ram is used first instead of the swap, and enabling TRIM.
When i have time, i may re-try LoM with the fixes implemented, see if it does better with the 10 min music crash. im not willing to delete the music to play LoM on the deck. the music is too much an important part of the game for me.
What i've been doing, for now, is dropping the screen res on my desktop to the deck's 1280x800, then running LoM through Moonlight, or using steams native streaming.
Honestly i agree about the music. There are many games i can play with volume off. Play while watching something else. But LoM's music is just to... impact-ful to me.
Hey, thanks for this. I was trying to find a way to change the settings in the steam deck options, but didn't realize the settings to change the resolution was an in-game setting
I bought the game during the Winter sale... hoping it would play on the Deck. The freezing in battle made the game completely unplayable. Unless there's some way to fix it, this game is not playable on the Deck whatsoever... unfortunately.
I had invested less than 2 hours in the game, so I was able to claim a refund. I'm not going to keep a game I can't play.
