I tried Dawn of Mana one time and I don't think I need to again unless they re-made it into a normal Mana game.
trial
legends
another remake with absurd price, this SE too good to recycle old game with today's price

sword?
shield?
books?
shoes?
socks?
.............OF TF MANA
The only bad one in the series.
Do own the OST though...
Sword of Mana would be amazing! I loved that GBA version :3
Yeah. It wasn't really horrible in gameplay, more like in execution?
A camera that actively works against you, the Havok engine is used kinda... sloppily? I can't think of the best word for it, but the physics feel a bit janky. And losing all of your stats/exp upon entering a new dungeon cripples that feeling of overall accomplishment that is key to any good RPG.
Well for Ps2 games, a lot of them where kinda funny... FF went linear/MMO... starocean 3 despite being a great game, had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ plot twist that ruined the game(At least for me)... Grandia 3 while funny and nice to look at(With some enhanced combat mechanics) the story was.... well.... not all that great.
VP2 I played a little bit before my ps2 died, and DQ i never got into.
Edit: compared to all those I would have to say it almost fits right in, however it was so different from all the other games that it basically killed the franchise. If they at least left some of the old mechanics/RPG elements inside the game instead of going in a completely different direction It wouldn't be hated by a lot of people.
