Was the game built from the ground up or did they take the last version of it, and re-code to have it work on PC. They did this with many Final Fantasy games and they were not as good as the system they were ported from.

I do see texture wobble in the map screen, wonder if perhaps there could be some emulation at least of the PS1 graphics chip.

Yeah I glazed right over the word remaster, either way I wanted to know if the port was good or bad. I've seen more news than bad so I think I will add it to the wish list.

It's more of a port than a remaster. SMT Nocturne's HD Remaster was critically panned for being low effort due to not fixing the audio, and that did more upgrades than this LoM "remaster".

This is a port with few additions. Auto save, save anywhere, some hand drawn background replacements(hd), and the addition of the ring ring game that you can send your pets to, to get you items as you play the mini game. The last was only available on the pocket station, so it was a nice addition they added it into the main game.
