Profile and Stats Overhaul

Hey Keymasters,

Since the last patch we have been tracking and working on the issues we see from feedback, and some features that were lacking some love. The Profile section was not fully hooked up for a while, and some of the UI was old and needed to be re-envisioned. We updated that section, got the stats working, added Role XP and basic function and even got more card and ability fixes in there.

Now the Profile Tab shows Leader types played, Origins played, which has the most wins, and then your current Rank and XP as the Roles you select. Right now the Strategist is checking KP gained, Brute is checking damage dealt, and Joker is tracking healing of enemies and damage of random targets or your own. What we track for the role XP will also grow over time so stay tuned for those changes.

AI?

Will a player be able to play with AI substituting for humans, if there are not enough humans? Will this game be able to be played as a single player with three AI 'players'? Thank you in advance.

New VFX and Screen Shake

Hey Keymasters!

As we patch, and make fixes, we also try to address as many UI/UX issues you bring up as we go. This patch has a bunch of additions for VFX that help with status effects and impact of damage.

Bind, Poison, Rally Cry, Focus, Confuse, Scholar, and more get new VFX to help show status and when traits trigger. Those effects stay on the card until they are removed by phases or other abilities.

Damage now gives some screen shake to help with impact. Card hits and Leader hits have different levels of shake. We will be extending this to be damage based soon so the impact get's crazy for bigger damage.

Guided Tutorials Added

You asked for Guided Tutorials, and we delivered. This is just a first cut mind you, but it is much easier to follow than the previous video tutorials. Let us know if you have any comments on it and we can make updates as we go.

We also brought some fixes for Bots and Bot games. There were some issues where bots would draw out their entire deck and not fully die. Or when they died it might skip turn. Those are all fixed.

Another major update is that we fixed more potential crashes and may have finally stopped the fatal errors. Please let us know if you see any, and PrintScreen on your keyboard if you can. It will produce a Crash Log for us. Please post it to our Discord in the Bugs section.

Negative reviews

Making CCGs must be stressful. The majority of players want a free game. Then they complain about how much they have to play to obtain cards. No solution placate them. I read a review by an executioner, bothered by multi-player being peer to peer, thereby if the host leaves, the game is over. That is terrible. Except, I'm watching an Alpha game played by the dev four months ago, where they state that the game is peer to peer right now, but it will be changed. If the player had just sought more informa...

Explain deck tokens to me

I need to have a deck token to build a deck, right? What if I build the deck and don't like it and want to try something else? Am I required to buy another deck token no matter what or do the tokens exist as slots and if I delete the deck I get the option to build another using that same token?...

Video Requirements Question

I am running an old i7 machine(6th or 7th generation) w/ 16GB of memory w/ no stand alone GPU and even at the lowest video settings it is basically unplayable. I looked at the hardware requirements and see the requirement for a video card. My question is basically, why? As a high end select-able option, okay, if the development team has the resources to burn. But as an entry bar I don't get it. For this style of game it seems like an unnecessary impediment. No rush on this, but can someone explain the tho...
