No Sound

I have no sound in my game. No background music, no SFX and no voices. My speakers are working fine, I have sound in other games but not in this one.

I'm using the uncensored version.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

To be honest, I have no idea what codecs do and I'm a little unsure if I can upate those files and my system continues to work the way it does :(

Installing codecs might solve audio problems. Will installing codecs mess up anything else? Probably not, but who knows, install at your own risk.

Did you mute the sounds in the game's config by removing checkmarks?

If not, try different compatibility settings or update audio drivers.

Thank you for the explanation. I'll keep this option in mind.

I didn't remove the checkmarks. I don't even get a sound if I try to test the setting. The only sound I had was during the intro video.

I tried different compatibility settings without success. I need to check the audio drivers but I'm wondering why Sweet Pool is running without any problems because both games have the same system requirements.

Odd, indeed. Other than the codecs, I don't really know what else to suggest Maybe the game got muted/the sound level is very low in Windows sound settings (unlikely, though).

Sadly I didn't receive a response from their Helpdesk.

I searched their solution forum and they suggest to update the codecs It's the same link you provided and it solved my problem.

Obvious checklist is obvious, but I'm going to post it anyway, in case someone finds it useful:

Make sure the speakers/headphones work and are connected
Check that the sound is on and loud enough in Windows sound controls
Verify file integrity via Steam
Try different compatibility settings
Check in-game sound config
Install 3rd party codecs
Update audio drivers (last-resort option)

If all of these are OK...

Kind of a reach, but maybe something you have installed interferes with the game?

Try running the game and nothing else (other than Steam)?

hey uhm i cant change it to cd because i dont have the option to
