I have looked it up, and it seems that there is a character portrayed in a sexual way that is mostly read as underage. Just a heads up for other people. I think his name is Kau. So I will not be playing this game personally, and I just wanted to give others a heads up as the warnings can be read in many ways as character developments etc etc.

It is a heads up for people who do not like to see sexualized underage characters. I like these kinda games for good smutty fun, grotesque imagery or just good storytelling, but I do not like games where the characters that we are supposed to feel attraction, or who are sexualized are underage. That is just my preference, but I think it is a good thing to give a content warning for people like me. You two are not all the people in the world or even on steam.

Why are you so offended by a simple content warning? I wanted to inform people so they do not spend a lot of money on a game they will not like playing. As I said this is just a heads up as I haven't played the game and this is based on the information I am able to find

Imaginary characters can be as old as you want them to be. Worry about real people in bad situations and stop caring so much about imaginary people.

The fact that you are so defensive about it seems to be ascribing motives to me that are entirely in your own heads. I am very uncomfortable with underage characters being sexualized. It makes me feel uncomfortable and would make me not want to play the game, as I couldn't enjoy it.I do not know if I am the only one, but it is like in fanfic. You put content warnings, not because of the characters, but because of the PEOPLE reading the story who might be uncomfortable.

I honestly don't care about this discussion, but from the warning at beginning: "All characters depicted in sexual acts or situations are at least 18 years of age." - It may be 'Get out of jail free card' (We all now the VNs that a character looks 14 but is 18), but I see no reason why he should be read as underage.

i did not know about that, I just got info from the wikipedia and other sources, but I tend to trust those warnings. Thank you for the info. I might delete this, then Just got the impression that the character was blatently 13 years old

I can't find nothing about Kau's age, the writers probably didn't specify. Wikipedia does says that "[He] is actually a young boy", but young boy is kind of vague. I could call a 20 year old a 'young boy'. (By the pictures alone I would say he looks between 17 and 20.)

The point I was trying to make is that it doesn't matter what age they are. They don't exist to begin with. Yes I will be defensive when people like you seem more bothered by an imaginary characters age when there is real people out there that need our help.

Maybe it isn't fair of me to jump in on you. However I have seen so many people like you go off on either the age of the character or the situation that the character is in. And honestly I am getting sick of people sticking up for things that are not real. Especially when we have a real problem with real people being abused. People have their priorities wrong.

jesus christ "people don't care about the age of a character"? When the character is portrayed having sex they bloody well SHOULD care. And wtf is up with this whataboutism, if you enjoy this kind of content go and do it in silence, but don't pretend like normalizing the sexualization of underage characters, drawn, fictional or not, does not contribute to real life issues. And certainly don't come in and berate someone who's giving a fair warning to the people who DO care. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
