Looking forward to it's release.
Maybe the ninja thing could be a next project, imagining elements of the game 'Killers and Thieves"/ turn-based Assassin's Creed.. oow weee ..think about it, it might just grow on ya!
You cant but you can probably kill this squad at some point in the game. Would you be satisfied with this? :-)
Bummer. I wanted to play as ninjas. If I can cut them down, they are not ninjas. But it would be cool to be the superior ninja.
If you can destroy mega steam-punk scorpion with mere katana and a bow, you are monk master who can surely defeat ninjas. :)
Not to be petty, but all this really took the wind out of my sails for this game.
"But it has all these other things."
Indeed so, but no playable ninja drops my interest.
Considering you play samurai, you won't be able to have ninjas in your team. Samurai and ninjas were, historically, deadliest of enemies. And none were slaves under anyone's power.
Historically the deadliest enemy of the samurai were other samurai, with the Mongols, Emishi, and Korean and Chinese being distant runners up. Moreover, a large chunk of "Ninja" were Samurai or those in their employ. There'd be absolutely no contradiction between Samurai and Ninja operating together beyond possible tactical and ethical hangups, and those'd have more to do with personalities and preferences than some kind of ironclad code or the like.
