But Magi Master, and Hidon are technically super bosses, if you want to mod the game further, you should check out the modding discord.
The pixel remasters are pretty much literally only what they say they are - remastered versions of the pixel originals because hey guess what, people were shouting out for playable originals as opposed to having that additional optional content - to have that breath of nostalgia.
No complaints from me though, I couldn't for whatever reason get into the remake port on PC and ended up starting and finishing pixel remaster VI in one sitting - easily in my top FF games instantly.
From my understanding if you find a website selling steam keys, you should still be able to "purchase" them that way.
Because most of the data for the various remakes additional contents are still in the game data.
I very much doubt that. Any company that doesn't care about satisfying its consumer base will rapidly be out of business. Remember how Bioware reacted to fan outcry against the ME3 ending? That wasn't out of charity, that was because they realized if they didn't fix the problem they would alienate their fans and be unable to sell DLC and as many copies of ME related media in the future.
These are ground up remakes in a new engine, not ports. There's absolutely no reason for that data to exist, unless they originally intended to include them.
Except these were made in response to the outcry that the old mobile ports had.
no proof all lie?
Okay well first anyone and everyone who's dabbled in modding any of these 6 titles will tell you the same thing, secondly i uploaded gifs showing off the "Flood" spell, which was GBA exclusive from Leviathan esper, that thread has long since been burried, so i can re-share it i guess.
And if you think I somehow animated this, I'm way too lazy for that.

Almost the entirety of the GBA's monsters data also exist (can't speak for their sprites as i haven't looked that far into it)
While this is a full "Remake" from the ground up on unity, it looks like they dumped the data from either the GBA, or the previous FF6 steam version, and used the same libraries, but created the game engine and functions from scratch to use them.
If they add it as DLC one day, cool, I guess. Add it for the people who liked it, and for people like me, I can gladly pretend it doesn't exist without actually having it still be in my game anyway, taunting me.
And yet again you're wrong, this version is based on the GBA version, Localization, event changes, who can equip what and more, are from the GBA version, all they did was lock out/remove events/activators of the GBA+ content, and restricted it back down to SOME of the SNES content, which is completely different than what you're describing.
And even then they've taken further liberties to differentiate it further from both the SNES and GBA versions.
Such as the opera, the Quezticotol and Odin changes, battle speed, Clear Data after beating Kefka from GBA still exists, it just doesn't carry over steals, or unlock post-game content Beastiary and Music player from the PS1/GBA/SteamOld.
Originally death was an outright game over, but they undid that, they added in Healing buckets everywhere, quick saving, auto saving,
What i did was not Mod IN something, but made it Accessible it already existed.
Of all the Pixel Remasters, 6 is the furthest from the SNES version, and sure they probably won't ever add in the extra stuff themselves, but that doesn't mean it's not there, and it doesn't mean that this is based on the SNES, to recreate the SNES, because it just factually doesn't.
And it has even LESS in common with the Super Famicom (JP) Version than it does the SNES and GBA.
FF6 Pixel Remaster is FF6 Pixel Remaster, it is its own thing, different from every previous version before it, it's NOT Super Famicom Remastered, it's NOT Super Nintendo Remastered, it has far too many differences compared to each previous version, it is at BEST a wild amalgamation of the SNES, PS1, and GBA versions all mixed together, with a new secret sauce thrown in while removing an ingredient.
