Magicite Collecting

Okay I have been in the freaking desert for hours now and no Gigacutrian, no matter how many of the lesser ones i have crushed into a thin green cactus paste and they simply refuse to spawn the giant for the magicite. and since I cant seem to get Excalipoor to spawn in auctionhouse or Laviatian by using the ferry, my question is. Are they present in this game or not?

Because if thats the case i need to load back like a ton of hours to a time before i made odin into Raiden because..... speed growth per level, I wantZ.

Those aren't in this version. They were exclusive to the GBA version.

Must be this, I've only played the SNES version and I don't remember this at all. The older 2D version (the one that was a straight up phone port) probably has it.

meh, then load back a few hours and ton of work... blast.
Sucks that Odin -> Raiden turns speed +1 to STR +2 and removes Meteor for quick.
should have just given Raiden Speed +2 and meteor + Quick. oh well.

You can always do the glitch that allows you to equip espers you don't have, if glitching is something you're willing to try.

Min-maxing that hard for level up stat boosts isn't necessary though. You can easily beat the game with everyone having base stats and normal (around level 50) experience levels.

Pfft yes but thats not what i did when i was 13 years old and played FF3 to pieces.
Back then I had insane hp, mp and stats on everyone. And I managed to get through to the ruined world at lv 20-24ish on this playthrough, managed to gather everyone back together before level 30 and started hunting down all the magicites. (thank god for moogle charm)
But since Odin into raiden is in the same dungeon i figured that since Cactuar had speed +2 i didnt need to wait with turning odin into raiden. I figured that the new magicites was in the game since this game was based on the GBA or so i heared, releated to evasion and magic evasion fix and more. But after spending a few hours kicking those cacti in the behind i got the creeping suspicion that the guide saying that GBA/Mobile/Steam had them was incorrect and no one else are saying they have gotten them, i need to bite in the sour apple and load back before I did the Ancient City, I need at least 10-15 levels of odin on each character for quicker ATB, without gimping a 128 STR or MAG level on them, depending on their character. and at least 60-70 in STA... this is what makes it fun for me. If it was just beating the game i could have done that ages ago.

But seriously ton of guides are saying they are in game, so no one else have gotten em?

No guide says they exist in this version, in the old steam version they did, but they de-listed it for this Pixel remaster, which has only the content of the SNES.

Google Best Espers in Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster, a few of them have cactuar and diablo listed. But yeah, there is no room in my esper list, one slot is the former odin and the other is crusader.

I beat his game they aren't in here. None of the other pixel remaster had the gba content and this is no exception.

Lol, you referenced a "Game Rant" article, that used screen shots of the old FF6 steam/mobile version, that was a complete copy+paste from the old version's release.

As has been said a half dozen times, in this thread alone, those espers are in the GBA version and not in this one. Take a hint, they ain't here.

Oh i agree with you, i am just saying that there were guides out there that said they were.
If you read a few post ups, I finished collecting all the others classic except crusader and there was no more room for more. Now I decided to drop loading back and just solider through without speed growth. Anyhow thanks for clearing up things, not only for my sake but for anyone else getting confused by the best esper lists in pixel remaster posted by various gaming sites which clearly was lazy and just copy pasted from previous versions.

If I had not been "tricked" by those guides i would have waited on doing raiden after getting to lv 99 with everyone but gogo and umaro since they cant equip magicites anyway.
