Rapid Fire actually seems really tedious and slow in comparison. Whether you farm the gil "legit" by exploiting the gil cave trick or use a trainer to edit your gil... you can basically rip through 99% of all normal fights and literally 98% of all boss fights using Zenniage.
It's instantaneous, hits all enemies and does more damage than any weapon would at just about any given point in the game.
There's specific situations where you should use alternate setups but yeah... FFV is one of the most broken FF games because the customization is what makes this game shine from the rest... otherwise it's basically fairly meh.
Every FF game has it's share of broken setups though... In FFVII you basically just learn enemy skills and you have everything you need to beat every fight without any trouble.
FFVI has it's share of broken setup's as well though, I mean just look at Genji Glove + Bushido Scrolls / Offering whatever you wanna call it... the relic that allows you to attack 4x in one turn... dual welding the Ultima (Atma) Weapon at level 65+ with Illumina or Ragnarok pretty much = GG for just about every encounter including boss fights.
One character can basically just rip the entire game in half alone aside from the parts where you're forced to split up your party.... mind you, you get the Offering fairly late adventure, it trivializes the entire final dungeon.
Rapid fire is weak on its own, to be honest, but when you combine it with spellblade, dual wield, and other perks you gain through mastery, its fine.
that is not a good attitude ..only because you like the game does not mean we should be getting half backed products
but it does as it is not working correctly as it was designed to work
except it does not at all ...every hit of Rapid Attack should deal a half of your normal attack, but this is not the case in this version
no, you literally said "shut up and do not play it if you do not like it"
I was just trying Rapid Attack and as if it worked some time and some time did not
Except it is?

It also ignores defense and evasion since the snes version so the damage per hit can be higher than normal attack to high defense enemies, extreme cases being skull eater and Omega.
It also may interact in a weird way with boomerangs but dunno.
I was reffering to "Don't use it if you don't like it, god forbid a game should be fun and have multiple options and play styles."
