Thunder Dragon Location

Where is the Thunder Dragon in this game? Bestiary entry is #119. I know in previous versions it appeared in the Cave of Summons from the Summoner enemy, but I have been grinding there for a couple hours already with no luck and I haven't been able to find anything concrete about this version online so I'm wondering where other people found it. Am I in the right place and just getting unlucky or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

I had trouble, too. The key was getting into battle with a Summoner, and just waiting for them to summon it instead of just killing them instantly. At least, that's what worked for me.

I also find that using a Siren on the 3-Step Peninsula always gave me a mystery egg with a Thunder Dragon. For me I got nothing else with that method, but it made a difference.

Belated response, but if anyone wants an alternate method, that's the way I used :)

You can use a siren in Land of Summons B3 to fight two thunder dragons or in B1 and B2 to fight one.
