Edge LvL 99 has 7300 HP.
Rosa LvL 99 has 7100 HP.
Kain LvL 99 has 8800 HP.
Cecil LvL 99 has 9400 HP.
Give all your Apples and Soma drops to Rydia.
They lowered it in the other releases?
I didnt use any Apples on them. Maybe thats why.
Those didn't exist in the SNES version.
Cecil most certainly did not get 9999HP unless you equipped +Stamina items on him when he gains a level as often as possible.
Many of my playthroughs saw Cecil ending at 9,400 to 9,600 somewheres.
I don't know how the remake works yet, but in the original SNES version, your HP gains are calculated using your current stamina value, which includes what items you were wearing at the time of the levelup.
Note: I gave two Silver Apples to Rydia so she should only have 982 instead of 1082.
These numbers are VERY close to each other.
I'm surprised that my levels in these two saves are so close to each other, lol. I was doing a playthrough last year and had kinda got sidetracked.
The SNES version you see there is an unmodified USA version, btw.
What?
I have the SNES version and I have never seen Cecil reach 9999 HP, it is always 9400 on average, in my current save game I reach 9419 (SNES)
Some people wised up to the fact the game uses your modified stamina rather than your base stamina when it calculates how much HP you gain on a levelup. If you put the Defender, Bl. Belt and other similar items on him every time he gains a level, you can push 9800 or even more.
It also requires trying NOT to get any more levels than you absolutely must until you get the Defender so you can exploit this for all that you can.
Aww, was hoping to see if Golbez had programmed stats. Theres never any clear explanation on just how much programming he has for the SNES/GBA/PSP releases.
In PSX version when Rydia having more EXP than any other character still a lower level. Like LV58 when Cecil/Rosa/Kain/Edge already get more than LV65. The amount EXP to level up Rydia was insane.
From what I can tell, that does not seem to be the case here. She's keeping up with the rest of the party, at least in the Level 40s range.
