Where are the best spots to grind each summon?

I managed to get the goblin summon already but now I need Mage, Cocatrice and Bomb does anyone know the best places for them?

I actually got Cockatrice pretty quickly in the forest beside Baron from Helldiver. They are very easy encounters later in the game so it's quick and won't overlevel you because of the low exp. If that's the right forest you'll mostly encounter, Goblin and Helldiver which was good for the two drops with a couple Flying Eyeballs and Sword Rat.

I think you don't have much option for Mindflayer, probably try all the floors of the Magnetic Cave to see which one get you the best encounters.

I heard that if you don't mind waiting that late in the game, Bomb is easier to get on the Moon in a room/area with pretty much only monsters that drop it.

For the mage summon. If you have Sirens to spare the first floor of the Loadstone Cavern/Magnetic Cave they summon a fight vs two Mindflayers.

Dunno if there’s better. Didn’t extensively test. Just check that one spot to see and left.

Goblins probably best to pair with Helldiver. But if you wanna focus on Goblin you should go to the field just before Mt Hobbs. Can encounter 6-7 goblins at once fairly often.

I got goblin right away but have been trying to get the cockatrice summon for 4 hours and nothing

+1 for the forest beside Baron, I got Cockatrice in a couple fights there. But took me an hour farming Mt Hobbs area to finally get Goblin.

In the original american snes version you could steal the bomb summon from soldiers on the ground floor of the tower of babil. Stealing from the soldiers usually just got you a tent, but sometimes you would get bomb. They removed that from the later gameboy ports so I don't know if it is in this version or not. If they counted it as a glitch then it is probably gone.

My bomb was found on the moon with Balloons. I think its the best to farm and they pop often enough.

Cockatrice for me was on the plain south of where the Tower of Babel comes out of the mountain, next to the ruined castle.

Mindflayer is a bit trickier but its in Lodestone Cave mostly.

I just came back from the Magnetic Cavern and I must say Mindflayer are a very very low encounter in the whole place, I could not find a room or level with a consistent spawn. I would not try this one without farming a bunch of Sirens first.

The best floor for Mind Flayers in random encounters is on the third floor (roughly 1 in 4 battles in the original version and I don't see much evidence they've drastically changed things for this one). If you have a giant stack of sirens or are willing to save scum a little with a small stack, you should be able to find them on the first two floors. (Haven't verified the latter, but that's how it was in the original version.)

is there anywhere for the bomb summon I can use sirens to summon the enemy?

According to the bestiary bombs and gray bombs don't even drop the bomb summon :(
