Land of Summons Hidden Items 0/2?

I don't remember there being any hidden items here, only chests. When I pull up the in game map info, it says Chests: 11/11, Items 0/2. Anyone know where these are? I've looked pretty much everywhere and I have beaten Leviathan and Ashura.

I'm not there yet so I can't confirm but the three previous Pixel Remasters also sometimes included items given by NPCs in the Hidden Item Counter. You already got Leviathan and Ashura so I'm not sure what the two could be... I hope it's not those two and its glitched.

Unfortunately, you'll find the same glitch at the sylvan cottage. 0/1 and the only non-chest item would be acquiring Sylph.

There are two Grimoires, first one in the Armor shop, second one in the Weapon shop. They're in the bookshelves.

That's also a Grimoire, in the bookshelf next to a Sylph.

In fact, i'm absolutely certain I did. Maybe there's a certain point you have to be past for them to be there.

fwiw I wasn't able to get the ones from the land of summon monsters or sylph cave on my first time through, the prompt didn't appear when next to the bookcases. I tried again after the cpu fight and was able to take them. It might be glitched or something.

Yep after checking back constantly after each event they finally did appear after the giant event and/or fighting Bahamut since I fought him before returning to check for the final time

There's nothing in the bookshelves, and not even an indication that something should be there.

EDIT: I stand corrected. They ARE in the bookshelves, but they're only available after the Giant of Babel.

This is inaccurate. I've beaten Giant of Babel and they aren't available yet. As someone said above, it could be tied to Giant AND Bahamut, and this is the confirmed scenario.

This is really annoying, I have gotten all the items(technically missing 1 in the tower bit got that with a different save) according to the map and I'm still missing one, got the grimoires so those aren't them. Are there any other spots ppl tend to miss?
