Black Belt vs Viking

In the 3D version I see that Black Belt has more Vitality than Viking, but the NES version Viking has more vitality.
In the pixel remaster, who have more vitality?

At least Viking's Stamina is more than Black Belt's at the point of Level 73. And it is the highest value in all kind of jobs.

Where do you check it? Depending on the version of the game Black Belt has more Stamina and others is the Viking.

Well my viking has 1 more point of stamina 95 STA to 94 STA than my black belt both at lvl 94 with no gear on. Around lvl 70-80 he was trailing the black belt by 3 points.

Unarmored, at level 66, Black Belt has 70 Stamina and Viking has 74. This doesn't seem like a huge difference, but it gets to be a much bigger difference when geared. Geared, my Black Belts will have about 75 Stamina (not including Hellish Claws, since there's only one in the game, which would boost it to 80 on a single Black Belt) while all my Vikings can have 88 Stamina (Crystal Gloves (+4) and dual Triton Hammers (+10)).

Vikings have significantly more natural Stamina at lower levels, but Black Belt starts to catch up for higher levels. If you're going for 9999 HP, you don't strictly speaking NEED to use the Viking, but it is a good choice if you're at a level below about 70 or so and you're not quite going to make the gap otherwise! If you have less than 2750 HP by level 50, Viking it up. Otherwise, Black Belt will be plenty good enough.

So if I equip my heroes with items that provides stamina, will also increase more hp when level up?

Sadly no, HP boosts at level up are only based on your current level + (your base Stamina * 1 to 1.5).
