item detector?

So I went through this game with a guide, I went and got all the items missable, shipwreck, the 2 npc that give you dragoon armor with the prince, the fang from living woods etc, im not sure what I am missing? I got all the chests and got that achievement but im not sure why im not getting this item detector one, if anyone can help me out on what I could possibly miss?

Same thing happening to me right now. I'm not sure if it's because it tried to unlock at the exact same time as the other achievement or what. Let me know if you figure something out.

For me, it was one in gysahl on the first map.

If you open up the map in game and zoom out to the location map, it shows you how many items you collected in each location. You're missing one somewhere. Hope that helps.

yea i know that, none of the locations show anything missing so idk

Did you look at both overworld maps? Did you add up the number of items it says you have to see what the total is?

What's the item you get in Northeast Saronia? It's saying 0/1 items but I've been like everywhere in this town... is it story related? :/

There's a tree in the center of town on the right of the water with an Elixir in it.

it was mini from hein castle i didnt get it from npc, 100% now

Mine says I've got everything too, and I know I got everything from the missable dungeons... Says I havn't been to every location too, and I definitely hit all the chocobo forests and went to the fairy woods before it was unaccessable.

There is one after the prince joins you, you need to get the Dragoon gear from the old guys in town before going to the castle with him, or you can't get the item counts.

I'm about to be on my 3rd playthrough and banging my head. First playthrough I got all except Item Detector. So you bet I took my time on the second playthrough. Got Mini in Hein/Living Tree, got the 2 dragoon armor pieces from Saronia. Killed the optional bosses for all the summon spells. My question now is why the heck is it not popping?

The only thing I can think of is that I sold some of those items? and now it doesn't count that I "have them/collected them"

I find myself in that same position, the map says I found everything yet no achievement.
