This is akward, but.... (Item Detector achievement)
...apparently I missed an NPC in southwest Saronia that would give me an item, necessary to complete this achievement. Too bad Prince Alus can't be a support party member anymore, so ofc I have to restart all over to get it back.

My doubt it: do I have to re-do everything in a single file (until Eureka) or does it count simply to take the items and it's all "cross-saved"? Thanks in advice again, and apologies for the second thread in a row! (last achievement and I'm done with this game)

EDIT: amazing that someone in the Steam community, for some reasons, hates me so much that I get a clown award over something like this.

I'm so sorry for you, that sounds terrible. Unfortunately, I don't think items and treasure cross-save like the bestiary.

...well, on the bright note: I took a save from the Hein castle. So at least I don't have to re-do everything all over once again (and I can also skip chests lol).

I will check it anyway once I reach Saronia southwest to get the missing items, but I truly think I have to replay it again.

Sorry if I'm upping this post, but I have a severe doubt and instead of wasting time to reach Saronia again but missing one I notice a thing from the map: it said that there is an item in the Living Woods (before Hein).

Question: do I have to go there with Dersch and talk with a fairy in order to get the missing item from there? I searched the place and there's nothing.

No, I believe it's the Fang the Elder Tree gives you as part of the story.

Yes, just quickly did it and can confirm. Phew.

Still: have to re-do everything from Hein castle ;_; gonna confirm asap if the one missing is really only the NPC's item from Saronia or still something else.

I was missing the same two items in SW Saronia on my main file, so I started a new one and sped through to that part of the story. The achievement did not pop, so it looks like all the hidden items must be obtained on a single file to count.

I didnt get mini inside heins castle from the NPC so I had to start all over, it doesnt count like beastiary or adventurous wayfarer

omg this is one of the few items I'm missing. I was keeping an eye on my Bestiary but didn't think much about hidden ideas. I'm going to have to start a new playthrough.

I know the struggle, dude. Well, at least this PR was amazingly fun for me (just the little grinding on the Underwater temple was kinda meh). Would gladly re-do another playthrough (probably on PS4 or Switch).

Honestly, out of the first 3 Final Fantasy PRs I've played, FFIII I enjoyed the most, and am glad they all happened. I'll play it again sometime this winter when school calms down. I really want to 100% it before moving onto FFIV.

Good news! I was able to sit down and get it this time! It's now 100% and I'm enjoying FFIV. :)
