Bard using Healing Song good for grinding.

It's a free heal for the whole party. Not too good in boss fights but in regular fights will keep everyone healthy so you can afk farm with auto battle. It's like the healing staff from final fantasy 1.

I never used a Bard before this version, but they were pretty okay. I honestly didn't notice much of a difference from Elegy and Minuet, but the healing was nice.

Thanks for the recommendation. One thing I like about this game and FF5 (and DQ3, for that matter) is that I can have an unconventional party. I've been deliberately playing this without a dedicated healer - my "healer" has been a Red Mage, Scholar, and now Bard. I did make my dedicated spellcaster a Black Mage, but now I've pivoted him to be a dedicated Geomancer. My tank became a rotating Viking/Dragoon/Dark Knight the moment that appeared.
