Which one is better?

I played the psp version long ago but i dont remember any from it.

should i buy this one or replay the psp version?

FF3 didn't come out on the PSP. It came out on the Famicom, DS, mobile phones, and steam.

PSP got the 3D remake. They are very different games. It's worth having both, but I recommend the 3D remake.

The DS version is simply a 3D remake - and not very well done at that.

The NES version of 3 is great, but this new one looks like a blast.

Did you look at at that at all? That is ff3-3d, not ff3. They arent exactly the same game.

Did you even read what I was quoting? he/she said that FF3 didn't come out on the PSP at all. They didn't mention anything about a 2D or 3D version. Obviously we know that the 2D version is the famicom one and the pixel remaster..... i was just correcting the statement that ff3 was never on psp

The story's pretty much the same, just fewer enemies on screen in the 3d version and some difficulty changes as well as a bit of extra content.

FF3 on PSP is the DS version, but on one screen and with the mailing system fixed so you don't need friends to mail in order to unlock the Onion Knight job. I think FF3 on PSP may have even been one of the final games to be released on PSP?

The version on Steam is pretty much the PSP version, but meant to run higher than the PSP's 480x272 pixels of resolution.

The story is different. They also gave names and personalities to the 4 heroes, instead of using the same sprite but with different colors like in the 2D version. Buy them both when they're on sale. They're worth a try. Or just buy one for now and see how you feel about going through it again with a slightly different adaptation.

When did the PSP get 3? I just have 1/2/4. Didn't know it came out on PSP at all.

the tail end of its lifecycle. I believe in 2012 it came to NA as a digital download. Japan got the game in UMD form and in a case.
