Yes, 3 on FC, 10 on SW. You also must enter the Living Woods before going to Heins castle.

I missed living woods during my playthrough, I just started a new game on 2nd save and got it that way. Locations are shared across save files, no need to go through the full game twice

Easiest Chocobo Forrest to miss is beside the Water Temple.!!!!

Well. I redid a game to get to Living Wood ...still no achievement. Then I did miss the chocobo forest above the Temple of Water ...but still ...no achievement. Im starting to get worried...

Edit : Well Ill be damned. I missed yet another Chocobo forest next to Saronia...Now I got it all at long last.

Yup, those pesky bird spots are easy to miss

[Tip]: Use Sight.... when people say Sight Spell is useless, just use the Gnomish Bread, find the Chocobo spots and visit them lol they can be pretty hard to miss and pretty easy to miss.

I thought it was to see the dungeon's map (but since they implemented a map on all the installments, it was now useless).
