Cid's Wife Elixir? Secret Room.

I was able to find an elixir but after giving it to Cid's wife and talking to Cid all he is talking about is wanting the Wheel of Time so I cannot get any dialog about the secret room. Will this be possible after, or did I miss the chance?

So I couldn't get him to say anything and I thought it was dialog triggered. I ended up giving him the Wheel of Time but nothing after he said linked to this room. I just went to the left of the bed and triggered the hidden room myself with the torch.
