Dreadnought disappeared, help? [Possible bug]

I'm playing this for the first time. I just went through Kashuan Keep, then took a chocobo and ran around the map to explore a bit. I found the Dreadnought but didn't go in because I wanted to return to Altair first. So I did, talked to people and bought some stuff, then went back to the Dreadnought's location. But now it's completely gone? I'm sure I'm at the right spot. Is there any way to make it reappear or did I somehow softlock myself and have to go back to an earlier save?

Just figured out I never used the torch on the fire on the first floor in Kashuan Keep
