Game freezes when looting 'crystal rod' in cave of mysidia

I've tried 3 separate times to get thru the cave and loot that last chest and the game hangs on the 'you found a crystal rod in the chest' dialog box each time. Any suggestions?

If no one can help, maybe you should try to deinstall FF2 Remaster and to download it again.
(but you should deinstall with the "Revo Uninstaller"-Program, so also the hidden files will be deleted.

But wait for other answers, maybe someone has a solution for your problem.

Strange... I never had any issues. Glad you got it fixed. Maybe it was just a one time issue.
