You can get the PSP version for $20-35, so they're not being scalped to Nintendo levels yet. Same with the GBA version, and as much as I love that version, I know a lot of others don't.
But yeah, down the line I'm worried about the complete FF2 becoming lost media as well.
Fair enough on the price for the game. My issue would be the cost of the system, and the life of it. However, I do like emulation. It one of the reason I game on my PC.
I would say for anyone that could get them, to get them. As I doubt that SE will ever re-release the old version of FF V / VI on steam.
