Is this the SNES version?
I played FF2 for the snes in the late 90s. The one where they had air ships and the main character was named Cecil and there was a character named Kain and he would do the dragon jump off the screen and you end up going under ground at a certain point. I am seeing people suggest this is a PSP version. However I don't remember FF2 for the PSP.

This game was never on SNES. It was in fact on PSP.

It's weird that in 2021 anyone is confused by the FF naming.

Cecil was Final Fantasy 4.

Back in the day the real FF2, FF3, and FF5 were skipped over and not brought to the US. Instead they renamed FF4 to FF2 and FF6 to FF3. This has lead lots of people to confusion through the years when the numbering was finally corrected.

FF2's main character is Firion.

Not quite.

As people have said, FF2 US for the SNES is FF4 in the rest of the world and FF4 every release after.
Steam has the FF4 remake which is already available and the Pixel Remaster is scheduled for this year.
