Iron Giant Floor

Hour 3 of grinding for this mans

Are we positive its floor 6 or am I just getting bad luck?

Update. I found it on Floor 7

I always found it on floor 7.
But yeah, it's rare.

According to the Final Fantasy Wiki, Iron Giant can show up on the 5th to 7th floors at a 1.6% chance. Also the secret room on the 5th floor with the Masamune cannot spawn an Iron Giant.

After about 200 encounters, one finally appeared on Floor 7.

I spent an hour in front of the final boss grinding.

Then I killed the boss and he popped up 2 or 3 random battles on the floor behind where the boss was.

Same problem I had. Took a few hours for me to find Iron Giant or Confuse Tome (each). I think I got a Dragon Shield in only minutes. [This is on my most recent completed game.]

Yeah, 100% a game like this takes FOREVER (don't try it unless you find enough time).
