Transferring Save Files Between PC and Android

Before I begin, I wanted to thank Hamez88 who posted how to transfer save files for FFIX, this helped me to figure out how to do the same for FFII. Apologies if this has already been discussed or posted elsewhere, though I couldn't find any information on it myself.

For PC, the save files location is: C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY II PR\Steam\76561198027101600

For Android, I was able to find the save files here: Android\data\com.square_enix.android_googleplay.FFPR2\files\Save (I'm not sure if this location would vary depending on phone model).

While I have not saved in all available save slots, I can confirm the following files are associated with the save slots listed below:

There are also a few additional files in the save folder:

2E4HxIyL+Mvaahk1GRNNOgKrO4vDSSm72kHLbVt71hg= appears in both the save folder for Android and PC, but I am unsure of what this file is for.

V=SfwyU31ksiHpTxO7Rg2aBJrA18kSKvtF4jvDB4hRE= appears only in the PC version save folder, I'm going to assume this may have to do with game settings, but I do not know for sure.

VJPkB1UTDPC+6eDJIuvy8OtUSXOFoiYzRuhjms6tgcc= appears only in the Android version save folder, I'm going to also guess this may be the game settings file for that version.

Any help on figuring out what the above three files are used for is appreciated. For the save files mentioned above, all I had to do was copy them between the Android and PC folders and they worked without issue.

One of the things I noticed after transferring my save files is that not all the achievements I had earned on Android unlocked on Steam. It seemed that Steam was unable to recognize the achievements for earning Gil and for amount of enemies killed. It did recognize story achievements, maxed weapon/spell achievements and progress towards bestiary entries.

Lastly, I noticed that FFI and FFIII appear to be using the same file names for their save games, so the above should apply to them as well.

In order to transfer saves from PC to Android! Go to the folder with the data in it android/data/ look for the ff7 folder! Rename to ffvl..it will be copied! Now port your save to the folder with no ff7 logo! Now copy the document folder inside the no go folder to the folder with the logo! It should merge instead of getting access is denied..I figured this out my self...

Dude, you are an angel in my life. I finished the entire FFIV Pixel Remaster on my PC because everywhere I looked about how to transfer my saves to my Android, every site said it was not possible. I just started my FFV journey and now I can finally play in the comfort of my home and during college classes. Very, very thank you to this post!

You're welcome, glad one of my older posts was able to help you. Mebby, sorry that I never replied to you sooner, for some reason I didn't get a previous alert. At the time, when I transferred the files, I didn't need any programs, just figured things out through trial and error. Not sure if anything has changed since my original posting, but I'm glad to hear things still seem to be working.
