Damn, you got me excited then but no I double checked and all Hilda says is Hee Hee. No option to learn anything from her or Gordon.

Is it possible a flag has been checked to say I'm already past that area because I did the Tropical Island already? I've never played this game before so wasn't aware of the correct order to do things.

I don't have a solution to your issue, but I will add that I don't believe going to the Tropical Island before Deist has bugged your game, because I did the exact same thing and had no such problem.

That's helpful to know, thank you. I have no idea what it could be then. Perhaps not talking to Hilda at the right time and missing it?

Are you talking to me? There was no "format" menu when I wrote here, so IDK i have to research or guess if its some command like this , lazy of my part but I wasn't giving away a big spoiler at all.. in fact I've found lots of spoilers without beign tagged, that's why I don't enter the forums before I beat the game ^^, a solution thread is an spoiler itself so... even the tittle. I don't complaint about it but if I talk about something I wanted to at least warn saying "spoiler" .. well lets see if that's the right spoiler tag command.
