Did you get the ruby? You should know what to do next, unless you're been breaking the cardinal rpg rule and not talking to every npc.

Ok I think I talked to everyone in Melmons and didn't learn anything

After you get the Ruby, there is a specific NPC who wanted it from on the Melmond continent but not in the Earth Cave itself. Go to the cave far west of Melmond and talk around.

Fpr the life of me, I cannot find the plate I have the rod and as far as I know it was where I defeated the vampire I know it's on the third floor but where?

In the room behind where you fought him. You can see the slab on the map.

I found it It is actually no plate, instead you walk thu a corner wall in the vampire room That is why all the problems, but thank you everyone
