STEAM VERSION DOES NOT HAVE BOOST

Just want to put this out there for others like me who were looking to play this game a certain way and can't because, come to find out AFTER THE FACT that this is the only version that doesn't have this feature -_-#

This version of the game, however, has been out for almost 2 years longer. While you're just now interested in it, other PC users have been able to play the game for 2 years while console players just hoped we'd eventually get it.

And, it's coming.

You're most affected by this, obviously, but I think a lot of PC users would prefer the 2 year advanced playing over the boost feature consoles got after waiting 2 years. Plus, PC is eventually going to get the boosts.

They mean MODS, not in-game settings. Like these:

However, for FF1 I'm not seeing any mods for increasing xp/gold on Nexus, unless they just have weird titles and I didn't see them. It's not ideal, but I think with some file editing, you can increase them with the first mod I linked.

I'm still really hoping Square Enix adds the new features to the PC version soon

They've already confirmed that the Boosts would be added to these versions, the update for it just hasn't become available yet.

Well I would NEVER have spent a DAMN penny had I known they never did a DAMN THING to fix the PC versions, that's the quality of service to expect.

No updates in over a year.
For those that mentioned it, the reason why mods aren't a solution is because of speedrunning.
As it is, the PC version can't be used for that purpose and that is unfortunate.

Funny how people who speedrun the games for the leaderboard. use the PC version then. Yes, using boosters is faster but most speedrunners consider that an 'extra' category (for instance, for this game 55 total players have a time on the leaderbaord for the normal category, 8 for boosters)

It's been 6 months. How in God's name does it take at least SIX. FREAKING, MONTHS!!! to add the console enhancements to these versions to the Pixel Remasters? I get this is Square Enix we're talking about, but good Lord. What, are they trying to include controller support for the mobile versions but getting pushback from the CEO and causing a delay or something?
