Bestiary entry 118/123
trying to fill out the bestiary but don't know where these two are, could someone compare theirs and help me out?
Eredetileg közzétette: Jeftah:
118 is warmech, which you can only encounter *VERY*, *VERY* rarely on the bridge (long walkway) leading to the fight with Tiamat in the sky palace.

123 is another rare spawn, the Iron Golem that appears in B4 of the Chaos Temple (the floor themed after encounters from the sky palace, where you fight the rematch with Tiamat).

I casually ran into 3-4 Iron Golem encounters just on my way to get the masamune so maybe they're not that rare, but YMMV. It took me 50 minutes to spawn Warmech though, and I read other users spend around that much time trying to get him to spawn.

thanks for the help
Warmech, the first Superboss in the FF series! I kind of wish it got its own achievement.

Well, completing the Bestiary unlocks the "Field Research - Professional" achievement, but I was kinda surprised Warmech didn't get one, myself. As Chuck Berry always said, "It goes to show, you never can tell."
What about Tyrannosaur in the Mirage Tower desert? That is ~1% chance of spawning. :V

oh my god did i get THAT lucky!?
Warmech is on the same floor as Tiamet? Or the level before it? In my mind I can interpret long bridge to mean both floors.

It's the dark blue one, there are other dinosaurs that look like it but they're orange or red IIRC.

In the NES game it's called T-REX and is very rare. I've only ever saw it once while playing.

I got Tyrannosaur outside the tower in the desert. Just keep at it. Also when I kill the last boss can I continue playing or do I need to make sure I got all bestieries and chests first?

I think it just ends. In fact without a mage's WARP / EXIT spells (or whatever they call them now) I don't think you can even leave that last dungeon.

One trick from way back was to grab Masamune and then warp / exit out before killing Chaos. Players did this so they could level up easier, even though it's a pain in the ass to walk all that way and have to do it again later. It's nice when you have both Masamune and Excalibur on your team for sure.

In the NES game all the teleporters are one way in the Temple of Fiends Revisited, so the only way to go back a floor is using the Warp spell (which takes you back exactly 1 floor).

So yeah you'd have to use a bunch of them to go back, back, back and if you do it in the first floor you arrive at it takes you back to the present day / rest of the normal game.
Okay. Thanks for that information. I got all the bestiery done except for the last boss. I am missing four chests and I don't know where they could be. Are there hidden chests somewhere?
does anyone knows what 103 is?
