Cant learn Teleport?

Since when cant the Black Mage learn teleport? Am i missing something here? Am i remembering the game from 30 years ago wrong? Dude is level 21.

That's just odd, cause I could swear Teleport being a thing you could learn with the only spells that are off limits being level 8 ones. Unless that was a revised thing with the subsequent remakes/rereleases. Now I gotta figure out if there's an item I can buy that'll let me escape dungeons like teleport does bringing you to the floor above.

Nope, can't get warp or exit until class changes in NES too. And, nope, no item like that.
You need class changes to get all 8 level 8 spells (4 white, 4 black), to get 4 of the level 7 spells (2 white, 2 black), and 1 each of level 5 (Black/Warp) & 6 (White/Exit) spells.
