Artistically, we want to get the best from old school and classic card games, but also old adventure games, primarily in terms of style and hand-drawn illustrations.
As for the basics of our card game, we want to take a big step further to stand out from our competition.
First of all, there will be no decks and you won't randomly draw cards to your hand during the duel (no more Random Generated Numbers). You'll be able to play cards in the order of your choice from one of the many spellbooks you'll be able to create. Other things that will limit you and your opponent will be card slots and mana points of your character. Simply you'll have full control over what's happening and everything will depends on you, not luck.
In addition, the power of your cards will increase as your character grow.
As well you'll be gaining cards in a similar way to getting items in RPGs (learning magic, doing adventures and side quests), instead of just opening booster packs bought for gold.
I want to provide also that the story will be important part of Wizardians: In Defence of Magic and will be non-linear, which is rare in card games.
